Catalyst Business was founded on a simple belief: faith, third culture, and work belong together. We exist to give Christian, third culture leaders the opportunity to pursue excellence and flourishing.
Our Story
Our journey began in early 2025 through honest conversations with local friends in Duluth, GA. We quickly realized there was a missing space — an inclusive space where faith, business, and Third Culture leadership could truly converge. This need was deeply personal, as it mirrors our own stories and identities. Following a season of prayer and conversation, we are stepping out in faith to catalyze a movement to bring life to ourselves and others.

Jin Lee
Founder & Executive Director
Jin Lee brings vast experience as a pastor, nonprofit leader, and entrepreneur. He is passionate about creating space for the integration of faith, justice, technology and business with a purpose.
Dan Park
Co-Founder & Advisor
Dan brings over 20 years of experience in government, education, and international trade. He successfully led a global trade finance company and holds graduate degrees from NYU and the University of Southern California.
John Kim
Co-Founder & Advisor
John serves as a co-founder and advisor, helping shape the heart and strategy of Catalyst Business.
John Hawkins
Co-Founder & Advisor
A native of Brazil, John holds degrees from NC State, SMU and Duke Universities (MBA) and has over 40 years of experience in engineering and product management within the telecommunications field. He now serves as the Director of Operations at First Baptist Church of Duluth.
